The Beta Xi Chapter of The Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity is proud to announce that it was able to contribute a total of 102 hours of community service this past weekend working with a variety of organizations.
Over 30 volunteers participated in three different events during the weekend giving back to the community in a multitude of ways. Volunteers worked with Habitat for Humanity to help construct a home for someone in need, visited the Dane County Humane society where they created treats for the abandoned dogs, and finally participated in a telethon to help support Wisconsin Public Television. Members are continuing to participate in the telethon that goes on for the next week and many members plan to volunteer again for the Humane Society as well as Habitat for Humanity.
The Beta Xi Chapter has been a proud contributing member of the community and will continue making efforts to give back and support those in need.
