Perkins Loan Program in jeopardy

Nearly 5,000 UW-Madison students received funding from the popular Federal Perkins Loan during the last academic year, but the program could expire at the end of September if not reauthorized by Congress.


UW-Madison ranked 11th best public college by U.S. News & World Report

U.S. News and World Report released its annual college rankings Wednesday. Overall, UW-Madison ranks 41st in a six-way tie. Last year, the university ranked 13th among publics and 47th overall.
