WiscGuardian: New mobile app turns your phone into personal safety device

By downloading WiscGuardian on your mobile device, you can invite friends and family to join your network as your “Guardians.” Once you have established who you want your Guardians to be, you can request one or more of them to virtually walk with you on or off campus. It’s like having a trusted friend with you at all times.

One down, 11 to go — It’s been a good week for Wisconsin football

After an impressive 59-10 win over Utah State, the Wisconsin Badgers football team will face off against Florida Atlantic at Camp Randall this Saturday. The Badgers stayed at No. 9 in the AP Poll Top 25. Off the field, former Badger defensive end J.J. Watt has raised more than $27 million for his Hurricane Harvey relief fund.

If you're new to UHS Mental Health Services, your first consultation will now be over the phone. During the 20-minute Access Consultation phone screening, students will talk to a specialist who will connect students with the services they need, whether that be meeting with a counselor, group therapy or off campus resources.
