Black Out March seeks to raise awareness about race issues

A blustery Thursday night didn't deter hundreds of marchers from gathering peacefully to hear impassioned speakers and join in solidarity with students across the country. The Black Out March made its way from the steps of Bascom Hall to the steps of the Capitol.

Student first responders keep fellow Badgers safe

Next time a friend needs a helping hand, it may come from a student just like you. The UWPD First Responders are an all-student organization dedicated to keeping campus safe and healthy. All you need: an EMT license and UW-Madison student status.
