Wild campus: Fox sightings provide an up-close glimpse of nature

Campus is a natural area, with all kinds of birds and other small wildlife sharing the space with students. But there's something especially captivating about the red foxes that have been spotted all around the Observatory Hill area in the past few weeks.

Good news: Madison Metro buses returning to Bascom Hill

As construction at and around Memorial Union transitions to the next phase, the intersection at North Park Street and Langdon Street has reopened and will again accommodate Madison Metro campus bus routes starting Monday.

Bursar offers new eRefund option

UW–Madison students can have their tuition refunds directly deposited to personal savings or checking accounts beginning in the spring term, the Bursar’s Office has announced.

Crisis Fund loans help students get back to normal

No one expects their home to go up in flames, but that’s what happened to the residents of the Casa Blanca Apartments on Sunday, Nov. 10. Some residents left their apartments unsure of when they would be able to return, or whether their possessions might be damaged beyond repair. When unexpected circumstances strike, the Dean of Students Crisis Fund is ready to help.

UW students take top spot in investment competition

A team of UW students recently beat out teams from 10 other U.S. universities to win the J.P. Morgan Inaugural Midwest Investment Banking Case Challenge Nov. 1 in Chicago. The UW-Madison team bested students from Northwestern University and the University of Notre Dame to earn the top spot.
