Beta Xi Chapter sends seven members to work on Habitat for Humanity Home

The Beta Xi Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity is proud to announce that seven of its members worked all day at a build on a Habitat for Humanity home.

The brothers arrived on site at 8:15 am and were put right to work. Habitat currently has six houses being built in the neighborhood they were working in. With a beautiful 65-degree day, they were able to work on the outside of a house for the duration of the day. Collectively, the brothers worked together to put in place the framework for siding on all sides of the house, while completing about a story and a half of siding on a major portion of the house.

This is the second time this spring the Beta Xi members have worked on a Habitat for Humanity site and several brothers plan on joining the UW-Madison Habitat chapter in the fall as a result of their wonderful and rewarding experiences.
