Finish strong — and stress-free — with UHS

Sometimes stress can be positive: motivating you to do your best. At other times, though, stress can affect your body, mood and behavior, getting in the way of things you have to do. Check out these tips for recognizing and minimizing stress before, during and after finals week. (And good luck!)

New competition pool to be built at SERF

A new $26 million competition swimming pool will be included in the renovation of the Southeast Recreational Facility (SERF). The 50-meter pool will include a platform diving tower, have a minimum of 1,500 spectator seats, and be able to accommodate WIAA events.

Backpacks for Madison seeks used backpacks to help the homeless

From May 12-19, Backpacks for Madison will place donation bins for backpacks and bags, as well as duffel bags and drawstring bags, in Union South, Memorial Union, the Natatorium, the Southeast Recreational Facility, the Shell, the Morgridge Center for Public Service in the Red Gym and the University Book Store.
