Go Big Read seeks titles focused on global connections for 2013-14

For the 2013-2014 year of Go Big Read, the selection committee for UW-Madison’s common-reading program is seeking a book that fits this theme of global connections. Fiction titles are strongly encouraged.

Toboggan run > tray-sledding

Yes, tray-sledding is fun. But way back when, they used toboggans and it was awesome. The first toboggan run on campus was built in the late 1880s by the UW Toboggan Club and it ran down Observatory Hill and out onto the ice of Lake Mendota.

The flu season is hitting Wisconsin hard but it’s still not too late for your to protect yourself.  The single best way to prevent the flu is to get the flu shot from University Health Services (UHS), if you haven't already.
